Located at Booth W4771, lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics Co. will be exhibiting at the 2012 NAHB International Builders’ Show with its 43-foot Mobile Experience Center.

The center is set up to educate home building industry professionals about the energy-saving, convenience and aesthetic benefits of the manufacturer’s lighting, shading and thermostat controls.

For example, members of the building community can learn how legislation on lamps will affect their choice of light sources for their projects.

The center provides information on every facet of lighting and lighting control, said Erik Anderson, the company’s national sales manager, “so that attendees can walk away with a clearer understanding of their options for any application.”

”Our goal is to provide a comprehensive, educational experience about lighting, shading control,” he said.

The Mobile Experience Center also covers the energy-savings that can be obtained through dimming the lights and using occupancy sensors, motorized shades and even thermostat control.

Visitors can learn how to accommodate the increasing population of consumers interested in “going green” and saving money on their electric bill.

Professionals in the residential construction industry can apply this information to differentiate their products and services and find new opportunities in today’s changing business environment.

The center will showcase Lutron’s complete line of products — including automated shading, whole-home lighting and thermostat control.

Prior to the show, information can be found at www.lutron.com or by contacting customer service at 888-588-7661.

Headquartered in Coopersburg, Pa., Lutron Electronics is a member of NAHB’s Leading Suppliers Council.
