Free Online Brochures Outline How Builders Can Thrive Using Systems-Built Construction

Four new, free electronic brochures on system-built construction point out how builders who incorporate these systems can thrive in today’s uncertain market by generally building homes faster than with traditional stick-built construction while also reducing their labor and materials costs.

The fully illustrated color brochures outline the benefits of modular, panelized, log and concrete construction building systems — and the myriad options, styles, techniques and building materials available when builders integrate these systems into their business model and construction methods.

The brochures were created by NAHB’s Building Systems Councils (BSC) and can be downloaded free from the NAHB website.

The brochures explain how builders using one or more of the systems-built construction methods can:

  • Complete construction at warp speed while reducing their labor requirements and maximizing their crew’s on-site time
  • Better predict costs and minimize or avoid cost overruns
  • Provide home buyers a home able to withstand severe weather and provide safety and security
  • Provide a home that can consistently meet and exceed energy-efficiency and green building standards

Industry professionals can view or download the brochures by visiting www.nahb.org/bscbrochures.
