NAHB BuilderBooks is hosting the webinar, “Estimating with Microsoft Excel,” which will take attendees through generating an estimating workbook in Microsoft Excel and show them how they can save time and avoid costly mistakes.
The webinar will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, July 20. The webinar fee is $45 for NAHB members and $50 for non-members.
All participants will receive a complimentary copy of “Estimating with Microsoft Excel,” a $45 value, and one hour of continuing education credit for all NAHB professional designations.
The program will feature “Estimating with Microsoft Excel” author Jay Christofferson, a professor of construction management at Brigham Young University and licensed contractor who has built hundreds of custom and production homes.
During the webinar Christofferson will demonstrate:
- Three basic components of a computerized estimating system
- Essential functions in Microsoft Excel that will help attendees create more powerful and effective spreadsheet estimates
- Tips and shortcuts for automating spreadsheets that will can save time and money
