Safety Award Winners Honored at IBS
The 13 winners of the fourth annual Safety Awards For Excellence (SAFE) were honored at a Jan. 20 ceremony at the Las Vegas Hilton during the 2010 International Builders’ Show.
The awards honor the achievements of builders and trade contractors who have developed and implemented high-quality construction safety programs, as well as government officials who have advanced safety in the home building industry.
“Safety is the priority for the members of NAHB; that’s because it’s the most important consideration for the families of the men and women who work on our job sites,” said Colin Campbell, 2009 NAHB Construction Safety and Health Committee chairman and a home builder from Charleston, S.C. “Congratulations to all the winners for your commitment to promoting safety in the home building industry.”
