NAHB-Produced Programs on DIY, Fine Living and HGTV

The NAHB Production Group produces weekly television shows on DIY, Fine Living and HGTV for consumers. The following is the latest lineup:

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Eco Masons: Dean and Derek Go Green"

• May 27, 5:00 p.m. EDT
• May 30, 4:30 p.m. EDT

Using the latest in green products — and working in California — expert stone masons and hosts Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns combine hardscape and softscape to create an environmentally friendly driveway, walkway and garden area. Permeable pavers, a water-saving irrigation system, organic plants, a weather station and low voltage lights are some of the features Dean and Derek use to transform this Bay Area home into an oasis of sustainability. It's the softer, greener side of the rough and tumble stone masons.

"Indoors Out" on DIY

Episode: "Outdoor Family Room"

• May 28, 9:00 p.m. EDT
• May 29, 1:00 a.m. EDT

Hosts Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns help move a Georgian family's playtime outside with a spacious outdoor family room. Before the outdoor space was created, the Hames family had to rearrange the furniture in their spatially-challenged living room in order to play games and kick back. To solve the problem, Dean and Derek transform their large, but muddy, backyard with a grand staircase that leads into a new, spacious paver patio. They add a stone-accented fireplace at one end of the room, a handmade pine arbor at the other and put in lots of accents and comfortable seating in between. With all of this outdoor comfort, the family will never want to go back inside.

"I Want That" on Fine Living

Episode: "Concrete Tables and Tiny Electronics"

• May 28, 9:30 a.m. EDT

Check out fashionable, funky furniture — including colorful concrete tables that aren't as heavy as they look. For gadget fans, a fold-up wireless keyboard makes text messaging easier. And the latest in-home networks connect cell phones, landlines and digital cameras.
