NAHB-Produced Programs on DIY, Fine Living and HGTV

The NAHB Production Group produces weekly television shows on DIY, Fine Living and HGTV for consumers. The following is the latest lineup:

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Flagstone Kitchen Floor"

• Jan. 16, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
• Jan. 17, 2:00 a.m. ET/PT
• Jan. 19, 11:30 a.m. ET/PT

Expert stone masons Derek Stearns and Dean Marsico revitalize a lackluster tile kitchen floor with a heavy dose of thin — 1/2-inch thick —  multicolored flagstone. The beautiful quartzite flagstone comes with a mesh backing, which makes it as easy to install as tile. It may not be the first thing to think of for kitchen floors, but with a remarkably simple installation process and the benefits of natural stone, this irregular shaped flagging makes for a stunning — and affordable — kitchen upgrade.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "SIP Homes — The Mansion"

• Jan. 14, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT
• Jan. 15, 2:30 a.m. ET/PT

Two days of summer swelter and frustrating setbacks mean the pressure is really on for a Vermont build crew that is struggling with structural insulated panels. The Murphy family in Massachusetts finds out whether their elaborate home design was too ambitious for SIPs in this episode of "Assembly Required."

"I Want That" on Fine Living

Episode: "Making Music, Solar Backpack, Pet Products"

• Jan. 17, 6:30 p.m. ET/PT

Home studio musicians won't be able to wait to get their hands on a new guitar that streamlines music directly into a computer through a USB connection. For gadget gurus on-the-go, a new solar panel backpack lets you charge small electronic devices wherever you roam. Also, a new take on the traditional pet crate fits better with home decor and a new cord covering helps deter Fido from chewing on electrical cords..
