Focus Groups Look at Building Products at Builders’ Show
During next month’s International Builders' Show (IBS) in Orlando, the NAHB Research Center will be hosting focus groups with builders and other residential construction professionals — including remodelers and trade contractors — to get their opinions on new and existing building materials.
The information gathered during the sessions will be used to help shape manufacturers' products and to help improve the affordability, performance and quality of housing in the U.S.
The IBS focus groups also will provide participants an opportunity to:
- Preview new products before they are made available to the public
- Modify prototypes to meet specific needs
- Influence those who can bring about change
- Benefit from a unique networking and educational forum
Feedback from focus group participants will be evaluated by the Research Center, and used to help manufacturers shape the design, development and marketing of new and existing products and materials upon which building professionals rely daily in the field.
Focus groups will be held Feb. 13-15 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel, which is adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center.
Participants will receive a cash incentive in exchange for their time. Sessions are filling up quickly.
