Earn New Green Designation at the Builders’ Show
The new Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation from The NAHB University of Housing is being launched at the 2008 International Builders’ Show in Orlando next month. Attendees interested in obtaining the CGP designation can start taking the required courses at the show.
NAHB’s Certified Green Professional designation teaches builders, remodelers and other industry professionals strategies for incorporating green building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction.
The designation provides a solid background in green building methods and the tools to reach consumers from an organization that is leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.

Learn how green homes provide buyers with lower energy costs and higher value. This two-day course for building professionals discusses strategies for incorporating green-building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction. Attendees will learn how green homes provide buyers lower maintenance, better indoor air quality and better long-term value.
Techniques for competitively differentiating home products with increased indoor environmental quality as well as energy and resource efficiency will also be discussed.
