Jan. 25 Early Bird Deadline for Wetlands Mitigation Conference
The early bird registration deadline is Jan. 25 for the 11th annual National Mitigation & Ecosystem Banking Conference taking place on May 6-9 in Jacksonville, Fla.
NAHB and the Federal Highway Administration are co-chairing a user’s forum at this year’s event. The conference provides annual education and training for developers, environmental consultants and others interested in the subject of mitigation banking, where wetlands are restored, created or enhanced to make up for development on similar wetlands nearby.
Other events planned for “Banking on the Environment” include:
- Regulator and banker forums
- Workshops on stream banking and restoration, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mitigation Banking Review Team and “Mitigation 10”
- Special addresses from industry representatives
