Progress Lighting Features Energy-Efficient, LED Products

Progress Lighting will be highlighting a variety of energy-saving and award-winning fixtures at Booth W2559 during the International Builders’ Show in Orlando on Feb. 13-16.

Convention-goers will find the latest additions to the manufacturer’s Fairview collection, which offers energy-efficient lanterns that work as individual exterior accents or that can even be used to define entire outdoor rooms, or landscapes, with a cohesive look. In either a black or brushed nickel finish, clean-lined frames enclose etched glass to provide beautiful illumination and character.

The collection won a 2006 Lighting for Tomorrow award in the energy-efficient lighting category.

The company will also be displaying its Copenhaven chandelier and Strata wall lantern. Both are included in Progress Lighting’s EVERLUME LED residential lighting line.

The Copenhaven received a 2007 Progress Report from the IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) for its innovative use of LEDs in residential illumination. The four-light chandelier uses clusters of LEDs for each light “socket,” features etched white opal glass and provides warm white illumination resembling incandescent and halogen lamp sources. It is available in a brushed nickel or antique bronze finish, and combines modern decorative design with state-of-the-art technology.

The Strata won a 2007 Lighting for Tomorrow award in the category of outdoor solid state lighting products. Available as wall-mount, post-top and chain-hung, these decorative outdoor fixtures are ideal for mounting over address numbers of doorways. Available in an oil-rubbed bronze finish, the Strata features a modern housing design that directs light downwards for glare-free, dark-sky friendly illumination.
