Simpson Strong-Tie Strengthens Homes From Roof to Foundation

At Booth W683 at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando from Feb. 13-16, Simpson Strong-Tie will provide information on its structural product solutions that strengthen the structural integrity of homes and buildings.

The manufacturer’s products and research are recognized for increasing structural resistance to high winds, hurricanes and seismic forces. The company works with builders, engineers, code officials and home owners across the country to provide products that reinforce the structural frame of a house, making it stronger and safer.

Simpson Strong-Tie products — such as joist hangers, hurricane ties, straps, holdowns, anchor systems, anchor tiedown systems and Quik Drive screw driving systems — are incorporated into a whole-system building approach to ensure that structures are tied together from the roof to the foundation.

The Simpson Strong-Tie THJU hip/jack hanger is among the products that the manufacturer will be showcasing at this year’s show. The product is flexible and easy to install, without sacrificing performance.

The unique configuration of the hanger allows it to handle both right- and left-hand hips. It can be ordered to fit a range of hip skews up to 65 degrees, as well as various single and two-ply hip/jack combinations. The THJU can be installed either before or after the hip and jack are in place.

Headquartered in Pleasanton, Calif., Simpson Strong-Tie is a member of the National Council of the Housing Industry — The Leading Suppliers of NAHB.
