NAHB Executive Vice President and CEO Jerry Howard and NAHB Chief Economist David Seiders will be the featured speakers at a construction management seminar for students, faculty and building industry representatives across the country. The webcast will be Tuesday, Nov. 13 beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET.
The webcast, “The Upside of Downtime: Why Residential Construction Is Still a Path to Success,” is the second in the “Building Communities Webcast Series on Residential Construction Management.”
Mark Tipton, an endowment trustee and the 1991 NAHB president, will serve as the webcast moderator.
The webcast series is sponsored by the National Housing Endowment, the philanthropic arm of NAHB, in partnership with East Carolina University (ECU).
“Our industry has been in the news a lot recently,” said Gary Garczynski, endowment chairman and 1992 NAHB president. “This webcast series will look past the headlines and parse the hard data, giving students an honest look at the challenges facing our industry in the short-term and the growth peering just over the horizon.”
