Committee, Council Appointment Forms Now Online

Members of NAHB who are interested in serving on the association’s various committees and councils next year to provide their expertise and experience on issues and challenges facing the nation’s housing industry should submit the 2008 Committee and Council Appointment Form (nahb.org/committeeform). Members must be logged in to complete the form.

All applications must be completed online because paper applications are no longer being used for this process.

The application form is preceded by information on the one-year appointment process, including eligibility and attendance requirements. Appointments will be finalized and mailed by the end of the year.

This year’s form is personalized according to each member’s NAHB profile. It offers sign-up choices based on past years of service, current participation, membership status, board status and more.

Submission of the form will be followed by an e-mail confirmation and a link to review or modify the request.

The deadline for submissions is Sept. 28.

For more information, e-mail Cyndi McKinley Brown at NAHB, or call her at 800-368-5242 x8346.
