Retaining Members Discussed at Membership Conference

Christine Greeves, assistant staff vice president of online services at NAHB, will speak about the importance of retaining members during NAHB’s National Conference on Membership at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte, N.C. on Oct. 12-14.
“The conference will provide further insight on tried-and-true methods and introduce some innovative ideas,” Greeves said. “This will help boost not only the sheer number of members, but also membership satisfaction.”
William Deiss, director of education designation programs at NAHB, will speak about the value of growing and refining educational programs in associations during the conference.
“This will be a chance for people who share similar issues and challenges to discuss them face-to-face,” Deiss said. “The knowledge they stand to gain could very well provide enough new ideas to fill up their entire year.”
Deiss added that some of the ideas would be groundbreaking while others would be more subtle, producing what he calls “those little ah-ha moments.”
