Nation’s Building News Earns National Honors
 Nation’s Building News, the most comprehensive weekly source for home building industry and NAHB news in the country, received national honors for excellence in electronic communications from ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership.
Nation’s Building News earned the 2007 Communication Gold Circle Award, ASAE & The Center’s award recognizing NAHB's innovative ideas and achievement in association communications.
Natin's Building News competed against more than 200 entries in print publishing, electronic publishing, writing and media relations. Eighteen associations were honored in the various categories.
“In today’s ever demanding, hectic and high-tech world, it’s easy to overlook how we communicate with others,” said Cecilia Sepp, 2006-2007 chair of the Gold Circle Awards Committee. "This becomes even more challenging for associations, whose employees often wear many hats at once. All the winners are to be commended for understanding the important role of communication and successfully embracing that challenge.”
“These efforts demonstrate what tremendous creative talent is found in the association workforce and, as a result, our community continues to gain recognition as a viable and enticing sector of employment,” said John H. Graham IV, CAE, president and CEO of ASAE.
Nation’s Building News and the winning entries in ASAE & The Center’s other award categories will be acknowledged at the Gold Circle Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 5:30 p.m. during ASAE & The Center’s 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition in Chicago.
