NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV and DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is the latest lineup:

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Flagstone Kitchen Floor"

• March 29, 9:30 p.m. ET/PT
• March 30, 1:30 a.m. ET/PT
• March 30, 9:30 a.m. ET/PT
• April 1, 11:30 a.m. ET/PT

Expert stone masons and hosts Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns revitalize a lackluster tile kitchen floor with a heavy dose of thin (1/2-inch thick) multicolored flagstone. The beautiful quartzite flagstone comes with a mesh backing, which makes it as easy to install as tile. It may not be the first thing you think of for kitchen floors, but with a remarkably simple installation process and the benefits of natural stone, this irregular shaped flagging makes for a stunning — and affordable — kitchen upgrade.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Operation Home Delivery (Part 2)"

• March 26, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
• March 27, 2:00 a.m. ET/PT
• March 27, 10:00 a.m. ET/PT

Habitat for Humanity grants a new lease on life to one family devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Operation Home Delivery started with 1,000 volunteers building prefab walls on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Now those walls are a home shell for the Carrington family in Louisiana. It doesn't stop there. Crew leader Jillian Gross has only five more days to lead a team of volunteers in a "blitz build" so that the family can move in.
