NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV and DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is the latest lineup:

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Houseboat Thin Veneer"

• March 15, 9:30 p.m. ET/PT
• March 16, 1:30 a.m. ET/PT
• March 16, 9:30 a.m. ET/PT
• March 18, 11:30 a.m. ET/PT

Stone masons Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns take to the high seas to spruce up the inside of a houseboat in this edition. They use a thin stone veneer on the walls of a houseboat — proving that you can take any small space and make a big improvement with stone. If you’re looking for a creative way to give a facelift to a room with close quarters, then batten down the hatches and get ready to set sail. As the stone guys prove in this episode, you don’t have to be on solid ground to make a rock solid difference with stone.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Modern Modular Home"

• March 12, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
• March 13, 2:00 a.m. ET/PT
• March 13, 10:00 a.m. ET/PT

Who says chic modern homes are only for big spenders? In this edition of Assembly Required, a team of architects designs, prefabricates and builds a prototype for an affordable, modern modular home. Minnesota residents Pete and Lindsey watch in anticipation as the factory-made, contemporary home shell arrives by flatbed and comes together in just one day.
