NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV & DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces three weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is the latest lineup:

"I Want That" on HGTV

Episode: "Hanging Aquarium"

•  Oct. 27, 11:30 p.m. ET/PT
•  Oct. 28, 3:30 a.m.  ET/PT

Bring the beauty of live tropical fish to any space with a wall-mounted aquarium. A sleek stainless-steel grill is contained in a tube less than 12-inches long. Ultramodern floor and wall tiles are embedded with lights. Plus, fun new pet supplies, a children's soap dispenser, a soda penguin and more.

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Bluestone Landing for a Historic Home"

• Oct. 26, 5:00 p.m. ET/PT
• Oct. 28, 11:30 a.m. ET/PT

There are a lot of paver options on the market, but when you’re working on a historic property, it’s generally a good idea to use a natural product. In this project, stonemasons Derek Stearns and Dean Marsico use tumbled bluestone pavers to create a landing for this New England home. Tips include how to build over an existing wall, how to properly prep a paver base and how to add a curve to a stone wall.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Log Home"

• Oct. 25, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT
• Oct. 26, 2:30 a.m. ET/PT
• Oct. 29, noon ET/PT
• Oct. 31, 5:30 p.m. ET/PT

Old-world craftsmanship meets today's technology as the log home goes prefab. Meet a family who got more hands-on experience than they were hoping for as they set out to build their log home. Then see how one family saw prefab as an affordable way to build their lakeside retreat. Tour a log home factory to see how computerized machines cut every log to fit and watch and learn as a kit comes together on a build site.
