NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV & DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces four weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is this week's lineup:

"I Want That" on HGTV

Episode: "Tanning Shower"

•  Aug. 30, 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
•  Aug. 31, 12:30 a.m. ET/PT
•  Sept. 1, 11:30 p.m. ET/PT
•  Sept. 2, 3:30 a.m. ET/PT
•  Sept. 3, 2:00 p.m. ET/PT

Get clean — and some color at the same time — with a tanning bed and shower combination. A vintage airplane becomes unique artwork. A new bike design does away with the greasy chain. Plus, television remotes for kids, ukulele lunchboxes and eco-friendly rainwater collectors.

"Dream Builders" on HGTV

Episode: "Great Falls Lodge, Cactus House"

•  Sept. 2, 10:30 a.m. ET/PT

A mountain-loving couple brings a bit of the Rockies to Virginia as they build a Colorado-style lodge. Also, can a New York architect create a sophisticated retreat in Arizona? The answer is a treat for the eyes. Then a Washington, D.C. design team breathes new life into what had become a stale colonial. Plus, a gem of a countertop — surfaces made with semi-precious stone.

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Rock Garden"

• Aug. 31, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
• Sept. 1, 2:00 a.m. ET/PT
• Sept. 3, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT
• Sept. 4, 1:00 a.m. ET/PT

Dean and Derek, along with guest, Doug Capodanno, transform an overgrown rocky yard into a rock garden using additional stone, a little landscaping know-how and the right plant material.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Operation Home Delivery (Part 1)"

• Aug. 29, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT
• Aug. 20, 2:30 a.m. ET/PT

After Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, hundreds of thousands were left homeless. How does the rest of the country help those in need? Habitat for Humanity volunteers from across the country gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to build enough walls for 51 homes. It’s called Operation Home Delivery. One of those homes is going to the Carrington family in Louisiana. Watch as they begin a six-day blitz build, on this special edition of Assembly Required.
