The stone guys, Dean and Derek, with assistance from guest expert Kelley Stupfel, use a system of granite pieces to simulate the look of slab granite in order to create granite countertops at a fraction of the usual price.

When architect Michelle Kauffman designed her Glidehouse dream home, she never imagined it would become so popular. Now Kauffman’s mass-producing her Glidehouse using modular prefab design, and the Minor family wants to get one of their own. However, getting the oversized modular home onto their lot on Puget Sound’s Whidbey Island is no easy task. Will the crew be able to get the 16-foot wide modules up a 9-foot wide driveway and around a hairpin turn? Find out on Assembly Required.
