NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV & DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces four weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is this week's lineup:

"I Want That" on HGTV

Episode: "Technology and Urban Art"

If you're tired of your computer accessories looking the same as everyone else's, check out some fun new takes on the USB drive. Art inspired by city streets and traffic will inject an urban feel into your home decor. And LED lights aren't just functional anymore. They can now add a little tech fun to your wardrobe.

"Dream Builders" on HGTV

Episode: "Universal Access, Sunglasses for the Home"

An Ohio couple builds a home that features excellent wheelchair access. Tour a Hamptons getaway with contemporary flair. A developer takes great pains to make sure that a project north of San Francisco doesn't disturb the habitat. British design meets the American frontier in Wisconsin. Invisible window film cuts damage from the sun without obscuring the view.

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Outdoor Waterfall"

Dean and Derek take on a plain backyard and transform it into an inspiring retreat by adding a water and stone feature. With help from their invited guest, Ed Beaulieu, of Aquascape Designs, they will design and build a low-maintenance pond complete with a stone waterfall and stone surround. In the course of this project, they will give tips on regionalizing the pond with local stone and take a trip to the local quarry.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Manufactured Home"

In this episode, an old trailer home gets revamped as the Roddey family pushes the envelope in the design of a manufactured home and gets it built in record speed. Also, take a look inside a manufactured home factory and see the new techniques that set these homes apart from their trailer park past.
