Forum to Focus on Conflict Management in the Construction Industry

Professionals in the nation’s housing industry can learn about the latest dispute avoidance and dispute resolution processes that are being used in the construction industry and how to make the most of them.

Co-sponsored by NAHB and other construction industry organizations, the American Arbitration Association’s second annual National Forum on Conflict Management in the Construction Industry is aimed at architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, owners, underwriters and others.

The forum will be held Nov. 4-5 at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, FL.

The use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is expanding in all business arenas, and the construction industry has been a leader in conflict management.

See how Countrywide’s Prime Rate OTC construction loan can offer more flexibility to qualified buyers.
Learn how our Home Equity Loan offers flexible payment options and the ability to reuse the funds.

Topics that will be discussed at forum sessions include: best practices in ADR, the surety’s role in arbitration, the owner’s perspective on resolving disputes, mediation, some international aspects of ADR and more.

Attendees from last year’s conference reported that it was one of the best of its kind anywhere and that it provided progressive and cutting-edge information.
