Friday Is the Deadline for Community Service Competition
NAHB members, state and local home builders associations and women’s councils can seek public recognition for their community service and charitable projects by entering this year’s competition for the Home Builders Care/National Housing Endowment Project of the Year Award.
To enter, applicants should submit an entry form accompanied by a two-page detailed description of the project. Supporting material such as press clippings, programs or other documents can be included with the entry. Members and HBAs are eligible to enter, and entries are due at the end of this week, on Oct. 15.
The National Housing Endowment Board of Trustees will select a winner at its meeting in December. The winner will be recognized at the 2005 International Builders’ Show in Orlando and will receive a $5,000 donation to a charity of their choice, a story in this publication, a press release announcement and a recognition plaque.
