HomeBuilder.com™ Launches Web-Based Programs to Increase Builder Sales

HomeBuilder.com™, the official online new homes sales site of the NAHB, launched four Web-based promotional programs that will help builders increase sales. The programs are designed to move standing inventory; reach real estate agents who work with home buyers; connect builders with pre-qualified buyers; and help builders produce successful sales events. HomeBuilder.com™ announced the programs at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.

The Inventory Mover Promotion Program is a new homes listing program designed to help builders sell "spec" homes faster. Inventory Mover enables builders to list their spec homes on the HomeBuilder.com™ Web site as well as on the No. 1 real estate site on the Internet, Realtor.com®, when the builder is a member of the National Association of Realtors®. Last year, Realtor.com attracted an average of 4.9 million unique users each month. Through the Inventor Mover Promotion, home builders will now have access to this consumer traffic.

The Agent Reach Promotion Program gives builders an online avenue to market themselves directly to real estate agents who work with home buyers who use the Internet in their new home search. Agent Reach will help its customers create top-of-mind awareness by helping builders leverage marketing solutions that target these real estate agents. According to the National Association of Realtors®, 78% of Internet home buyers used a real estate professional to make their final purchase.

The Buyer Finder Promotion Program helps builders connect with potential home buyers when they are at their highest point of interest. Consumers visit the HomeBuilders.com™ site because they are looking for a new home. Buyer Finder provides ongoing community and brand exposure to this targeted audience. More than 70% of home buyers use the Internet at some point in their search, and HomeBuilder.com™ helps connect them to builders and their communities.

The Event Maker Promotion Program helps builders generate high visibility for their sales events by giving them online exposure on HomeBuilder.com™, Realtor.com® and RENTNET™. From pre-opening to grand opening and phase releases, builders using this program can blanket their local market with news of their special events to increase customer traffic. In addition to billboard-like promotion on HomeBuilder.com™, builders can expand their reach to potential home buyers in resale and rental markets by promoting events on Realtor.com® and RENTNET™.

These four programs offer home builders an online marketing strategy that is flexible and tailored to meet their individual needs.
