NAHB Launches Access Mexico at IBS to Build Business Partnerships

Thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce, NAHB members have the opportunity to build business relationships with suppliers and other builders south of the border. The Market Development Cooperator Program grant will support conferences, seminars, trade delegations, educational programs — anything that will encourage NAHB members to do business with Mexican builders and suppliers.

Members will have an opportunity to greet and network with Mexican delegates and VIPs at the Access Mexico reception on Monday, Jan. 19, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at NAHB’s International Builders' Show in Las Vegas.

Members can also schedule one-on-one meetings with Mexican builders and suppliers at IBS, which will be scheduled from Jan. 19-22, by clicking this link.

Access Mexico will also feature an educational panel discussion on "Mexico’s Housing Market: It’s Investment and Business Opportunities."

Speakers will include: Sebastian Fernandez Cortina, director general of CONAFOVI, Mexico’s National Housing Commission; Miguel Gomez Mont, vice president of CANADEVI, Mexico’s national association of home builders; Manuel Campos, vice president of Su Casita, Mexico’s largest secondary mortgage bank; and Gene Towle, president of Softec.

The panel discussion will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Jan. 20 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, North 245-247, Level 2.
