15 HBA Leaders Tapped for Advisory Panel

Bob Weiss, Executive Vice President for the HBA of Kentucky, has announced the 15 state and local home building association executives who have been invited to serve as advisors as NAHB continues to work on the NAHB National Green Building Program.

Weiss will chair the working group with the assistance of Judy Barnes, vice chair. Barnes is the EO of the HBA of Greater Grand Rapids, Mich.

The working group is preparing for an aggressive schedule of conference calls and reviews as the pilot programs begin and the national program readies for a February 2008 launch.

Other members iinvited include:

  • Sam Anderson, Executive Officer of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties in the state of Washington
  • Nick Tennyson, EO of the HBA of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties in North Carolina
  • Pat Sullivan, EO of the HBA of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri
  • David Ellis, EO of the Greater Atlanta HBA
  • Toy Wood, EO of the Greater Houston BA
  • Mike Crowley, EO of the Master Builders Association of Pierce County, Wash.
  • Bin Wilcenski,  EO of the HBA of Greater Columbia, S.C.
  • Kim Calomino, Director of the Built Green Colorado program 
  • Robin Pharo, Program Director for the Green Built  Home program in Wisconsin
  • Emmet Reid, EO of the Florida HBA
  • Jon Luther, EO of the  HBA Greater New Orleans
  • Bob Rivinius, of the California Building Industry Association
  • Rocco Fana, EO of the North Coast BIA in Ohio.
